R. L. Johnson, Jr.
Pastor R. L. Johnson, Jr. is the heart and soul behind the vibrant ministry of Thankful New Jersey Missionary Baptist Church. A passionate servant of God, Pastor Johnson has devoted his life to preaching the gospel, inspiring others to grow in their faith, and serving the community with love and compassion.
With a strong foundation in biblical teaching, Pastor Johnson has been a guiding light to many, helping them discover their purpose and calling in Christ. His leadership is grounded in the principles of Matthew 28:19-20, inspiring the congregation to make disciples and impact lives for the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Johnson is married to his beloved, Shanette A. Johnson. They are the parents of five children and have four grandchildren. They are exceptional leaders who consistently demonstrate the ability to connect with individuals at their current level. He is dedicated to assisting the community in understanding that they are loved by God, regardless of their circumstances, and that He will always remain by their side. Along with his seriousness as an expositional preacher, he also has a great sense of humor. He is truly a pastor after God's own heart.
